I'm gonna start out by saying that Romeo and Juliet wasn't the most enjoyable thing i've ever read to say the least. in the begining i had no clue what was happening, the characters were hard to follow, and the language made no sense what so ever. This improved for me slightly through the book, but it still wasn't very clear. Another issue i had with it was it's such a famous and widly known book that i knew how alot of the story would end up.
It probably seems like i didn't like this book at all, but it really wasn't that bad i guess. I thought the storyline was good, and i thought the characters were well planned, and the storyline itself didn't suck. For me i just had a hard time understanding language and following characters. I could see why it would make some readers who were more experienced with older language or readers who like love stories satisfied. Oh and another thing i thought was really good was the ending in the movie, that was perfect.
Overall, i think that this will be a story that people read for a long time and they will enjoy it, but it really wasn't my taste.
